Chey Davis, Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who specializes in supporting individuals navigating marginalization stress, identity exploration, and life transitions. With a strong background in trauma-informed expressive therapies, narrative therapy, and existential approaches, she helps clients process their experiences and reclaim their narratives. Chey has a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA individuals, Black women, neurodivergent clients navigating allistic spaces, and those facing race-based stress. She also brings expertise in addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship challenges, creating a supportive environment where clients can explore their authentic selves and find healing.
Before entering the world of mental health, Chey was a professor of English, a role that honed her ability to deeply listen and help others find their voice. As a therapist, Chey believes in the power of storytelling, self-expression, and holistic healing to foster growth and transformation. She is also a passionate poet, a fiber artist, and an avid traveler, having visited three of the seven wonders of the world. When she’s not in session, you can find her immersed in sci-fi, embracing her love for both Doctor Who and Star Trek.
