Kimberly (Kim) Evans, Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW), brings a compassionate, client-centered approach to therapy. With a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and an Education Specialist degree from Wayne State University, Kim draws on over 30 years of experience working with children and families, mainly in an educational setting. She specializes in helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, social skills, self-esteem, stress, relationship issues, parenting, and boundary-setting. Kim uses modalities like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and task-oriented and empowerment-centered practices to help her clients to achieve personal growth and resilience. She believes therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing, self-discovery, and transformation.
Outside the therapy room, Kim enjoys a vibrant personal life filled with family time, traveling, reading, and music. She’s a Peloton enthusiast, loves dancing in the kitchen, and is passionate about meal prepping and juicing. Her joy lies in fostering connections and witnessing the positive transformations her clients achieve through their therapeutic journeys. Kim welcomes individuals aged 5 to 65 and strives to create a supportive environment tailored to each client’s unique needs.
