Tojyanna’s approach is person-centered and deeply relational, drawing from methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. She integrates the mind, body, and spirit into her work, honoring the whole person and tailoring each session to the individual’s needs and values. Her clinical background includes two years of experience during her schooling providing both individual and group therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
Clients often describe Toj as compassionate, down-to-earth, and genuinely present. Whether you’re moving through grief, adjusting to change, or healing from deep pain, she walks alongside you—never in front—offering support, insight, and practical tools along the way. As a Christian therapist, she welcomes faith-based conversations when requested, and she is affirming of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, spiritual, and veteran communities.
Outside of the therapy room, Toj enjoys trying new foods, traveling, spending time with loved ones, crocheting, reading, and staying active. These personal joys help her stay balanced and bring warmth and curiosity into her practice.
